Join us in a call for Safe Streets on Monday, 3/13/23 at 1pm in the Hawaii State Capitol Rotunda.Â
HBL and other partner organizations invite you for a gathering to promote Safe Streets at the Hawaii State Capitol next Monday at 1pm. We’re bringing together families who have lost loved ones to traffic violence, organizations advocating for change, and lawmakers working to support legislation to create safe streets for all. The event will occur at 1pm in the rotunda of the State Capitol. It will be an opportunity for other lawmakers, as well as the press, to connect regarding current bills and efforts.
4/30 (Sun) 30th Haleâiwa Metric Century
Come ride with hundreds of other bicyclists during this epic ride along Oâahuâs beautiful North Shore.
On April 30th at 7:30am, youâll start at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park and ride towards Ka’ena Point. Take a little break at the turnaround at Camp Erdman before biking back towards Haleâiwa, where you will pedal past famed ocean beaches and surf spots like Sharks Cove, Waimea Bay, Pipeline, and Sunset Beach. When you reach Hauâula Beach State Park, it will be time for your return along the beautiful coastline and over Haleâiwaâs iconic Rainbow Bridge.
