What's Happening Now at HBL:

Pedal Pāʻina: HBL’s Annual Benefit Dinner

Pedal Pāʻina: HBL’s newly named Annual Benefit Dinner is just around the corner, and we’d love to celebrate with you. Join us on Friday, March 6th, for an evening of great food, community, and stories highlighting the impact of bicycling advocacy across Hawai‘i, plus a curated silent auction in support of our work. Your ticket directly covers the cost of the event so please consider a donation or a hefty bid on a silent auction item to help fuel safer streets, education programs, and events statewide!

Come enjoy a meaningful night out while helping move our mission forward.

Hale‘iwa Metric Century

The Hale‘iwa Metric Century returns on Sunday, April 26th, inviting riders to experience one of O‘ahu’s most scenic and rewarding courses. Whether you’re tackling your first long ride or chasing a new personal goal, this event offers fully supported routes, a welcoming community, and a classic North Shore finish. Registering not only secures your spot on the start line, it also directly supports Hawai‘i Bicycling League’s advocacy, education, and efforts to make biking safer for everyone.

HBL’s Golden Gears Triking Program is BACK!

HBL’s recumbent three-wheelers are returning to the bike paths of O‘ahu to bring joy, community, and healthy, low-impact exercise to adults and kūpuna across the island. Each free trike ride outing includes a recumbent EZ-Tri Classic trike, helmet, orientation session, and personal fitting to ensure everyone is feeling comfortable before we set out on an instructor-led ride on one of the many (car-free) multi-use paths around O‘ahu. There is no cost to register but donations (of any amount!) are highly appreciated to help cover the cost to run this program. Click below to view our 2026 Spring Triking Program schedule:
