You can view all available shifts here, but below I’ve highlighted our most priority roles that still need volunteers. If you can grab one of these shifts it would be a huge help!
Priority shifts that involve lifting
- Saturday 9/26 – Route Sign Prep & Loading @ GP Roadways– 9:00am-12:00pm
- Sunday 9/27 – Ride Start Setup at Kapiʻolani Park – 4:00am-6:00am (RIDER FRIENDLY!)
- Sunday 9/27 Aid Station Truck Unloading at HBL Office (Kaimukī) – 4pm-7pm
- Sunday 9/27 Aid Station Equipment Delivery – Town/Small Box Truck Start @ Kapiolani Park 5:00am-10:00am
- Sunday 9/27 Aid Station Equipment Pickup – Town/Small Box Truck Start @ Kapiolani Park 3:00pm-6:00pm
Each of these setup shifts involve some amount of lifting/moving objects like barricades, tables, canopy, etc, and the Sunday unloading shift involves carrying equipment up stairs.
Priority shifts that do not involve heavy lifting.
- Saturday 9/26 – Merchandise Sales @ Ala Wai Clubhouse – 9:30am-1:00pm
- Saturday 9/26 – Merchandise Sales @ Ala Wai Clubhouse 1:00pm-4:30pm
- Sunday 9/27 – AM Ride Command @ Kapi‘olani Park – 5:30am-12:00pm (Must be familiar with the course route and comfortable logging info/updates from phone for HBL Staff)
- Sunday 9/27 PM Ride Command @ Kapiʻolani Park 11:30am-5:30pm (Must be familiar with the course route and comfortable logging info/updates from phone for HBL Staff)
- Sunday 9/27 – Parking Lot Attendant @ Kapi‘olani Park *RIDER FRIENDLY!* – 4:00am-6:00am
- Sunday 9/27 – Start Group Flag Bearers @ Kapi‘olani Park – 5:00am-6:30am
- Sunday 9/27 – Parking Lot Attendant @ Kapi‘olani Park 6:00am-9:00am
- Sunday 9/27: Merchandise Tent @ Kapi‘olani Park – 8:00am-1:00pm
- Sunday 9/27 Merchandise Tent @ Kapi‘olani Park 12:45pm-5:30pm

All volunteers will receive a free HBL volunteer shirt (this year’s color is red) and food!
