The 2nd annual Tourism Day was held on April 10th. Presented by the Hawai‘i Hotel Association it was a forum to meet with legislators, industry leaders, and policymakers. There were presentations, entertainment, ‘ono grinds and great networking. In the photo, HBL Executive Director Travis Counsell and Advocacy Director Eduardo Hernandez shared shakas with Madam Speaker (Nakamura) and Senator Moriwaki.

For the last few years, HBL has been a beneficiary of a grant through the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority’s Community Enrichment program. Through this competitive award, HBL has demonstrated the role of cycling in tourism, and the ways that we showcase unique, authentic and highly-valued visitor experiences for our community.
