July 18 – Cycle the Summer at Sheridan Park!

On July 18th (Saturday) 2026, HBL hosted Cycle the Summer at Sheridan Park, a collaboration with Adopt Sheridan Park and HPD Traffic Division’s Bike Right Program. This free, family-friendly event brought bikes out and smiles to faces as keiki got rolling safely through an on-bicycle obstacle course, free helmets fitted to heads, and the park sparkling with a volunteer cleanup!
Participants learned how to do basic bike repair on their own bicycles with HBL's free Fix-a-Flat workshop.
40 helmets were fitted and 42 sets of bike lights were given out to keiki for free by HPD Traffic Division's Bike Right Program.
