Want to ride your bike fast?

You’re in the right spot. Scroll down to learn about the five time trials across O‘ahu in 2026. These small races allow you to ride individually and push yourself to break personal goals and records. Remember this all about having fun while getting out to ride your bike.

These five races are being organized by Hawai‘i Bicycling League, Tradewinds Cycling Team, and ASBRA. To view all cycling events across Hawai‘i check out HBL’s online calendar and ASBRA’s online calendar.

Hawai‘i Bicycling League’s Rules and Information for Mākaha and Mokulē‘ia Time Trial:

~ Riders will be starting individually at 7:00am and then in 60 second intervals afterwards. If you miss your start time, you will be allowed to start when allowed (check in with the start line volunteers).
~ We ask that riders show up 5 minutes before your individual start time and queue up in bib number order to ensure an organized start.
~ Bib Numbers and Start Times will be assigned the day before the race.
~ There will be no Holder. Standing starts only. The front edge of your front tire cannot cross the starting line until your race has started
~ No headphones.
~ Must wear a helmet.
~ No riding or warming up on the course after 7:00am unless you’re racing.
~ The roads are open to cars, so ride aware and safely. We will have HPD and volunteers out there to help instruct at the U-Turn.
~ Once you finish, clear the finish area. The Timing Officials are busy keeping track of everyone’s race time. Cheer from the makai side of the road.
~ Awards will take place as soon as everyone finishes and results have been tabulated.

Notes, rules, and instructions will be e-mailed out the week leading up to the race. Happy training.
