I’m an artist based on Oahu, and I’m truly honored and excited to create these pieces for the 50th anniversary of HBL! My art centers on the themes of balance, freedom, and joy—inviting viewers to get lost in boldly colored, improvisational forms I call “squiggles.” While primarily focused on painting, I’ve created murals across the country and collaborated with commercial clients, including major brands, for products, events, and live activations—always bringing the same energy, passion for color, and sense of movement.

I've always loved biking, especially growing up (I rode RAGBRAI 3 times with family in Iowa), have been biking much more here lately, and I wanted to capture the feeling and imagery of biking in Hawai‘i. Drawing on iconic local elements like the natural colors, mountains, waves, and flowers, alongside bikes themselves, I brought it all together through my energetic style to create a lively, colorful pattern designed to work beautifully on any item and celebrate the amazing work that HBL does!
