Mahalo to all who joined us for The 2025 Ride Aloha Festival

An epic weekend celebrating cycling on O‘ahu!

Honolulu, HI – The Hawai‘i Bicycling League welcomed nearly 2,000 riders, volunteers, family and the public for the largest bicycling event in the State of Hawai‘i on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The marquee Honolulu Century Ride, now completed its 42nd year, is the capstone of our Ride Aloha Festival Weekend.

There were routes and activities for people of all ages and abilities. Riders travelled from Japan, Australia, Europe, Puerto Rico, as well as from North America and across the Hawaiian Islands.

Thanks to the partnership of community members in East O‘ahu and the Department of Transportation Services, we closed Kalaniana‘ole Highway from Hanauma Bay to Sandy Beach. Just after sunrise, riders experienced this undeveloped coastline, without any cars! It was a stunning and unparalleled vista. We look forward to continuing this new tradition so that more riders can enjoy one of the most scenic roads anywhere in the world.

The Ride Aloha Festival is HBL’s largest fundraiser of the year. Please click here to make an additional donation in any amount to sustain us in our year-round work. Here are a few photos from the event. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see video and more pics coming soon…

We are grateful for the generosity of more than 300 volunteers and our lead sponsors:
