Kam’s Helmet Night – 1/20/2024 (Saturday)
Join HBL and help get helmets out to kids at Kam’s Helmet Giveaway at HPU on Saturday, January 20th!

➤ LOCATION: HPU’s Shark Tank, located on the former campus of Saint Francis School behind UH Mānoa (address: 2707 Pamoa Rd., Honolulu)
In May 2011, Kameron Steinhoff, a popular student-athlete on the Hawai’i Pacific University Men’s Basketball team, was in a skateboarding accident. He was not wearing a helmet, and passed away from head injuries several days later. To honour his memory & prevent accident related tragedies, HPU and HBL will be giving away & fitting 150 brand new helmets to children at HPU’s basketball game on Jan. 20th.
HBL Staff will go over with you how to do a helmet fitting if you’ve not done one before (or would like a refresher!). We’ll have all the things ready for you there –plus free bike parking– you just need to bring your awesome selfUse the signup above⇡ to volunteer to help! •ᴗ•
