Updated Testimony Bill 125 – County of Hawai‘i County Council
The County of Hawai’i’s County Council is considering a bill that would authorize the Council to ban commercial bicycle tours on select roadways on Hawai’i Island that present safety concerns. HBL opposes Bill 125.

Waikīkī Crash – 5/14/24
On May 14, 2024, Alan Margol of Honolulu was cycling eastbound on Kalākaua Avenue in Waikīkī. He crashed after a vehicle passenger opened their door into the bike lane.
