HBL's New Membership Platform

On August 15th 2024, HBL transitioned to a new membership platform. All existing membership terms, levels, and expiration dates were transferred over to the new system. One nice feature about our new membership system – auto renew is now optional! You can opt-in or opt-out of auto renew as you please.

HBL emailed all active Members on 8/15 with a personalized link to log in to their account on the new system. Can’t find that email? No worries! Here is how you can log in to your account and access your membership:

First time logging in to the new system as an HBL Member? Submit your email address here to connect to your new account.

DESKTOP Computer: Look to the top right corner & hit “Sign In”.

On MOBILE Device: Hit the ☰ (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner to bring down the Menu. Select “Member Login”.

You get to choose! When you log in to our new membership system for the first time, you will be promoted to create a login name and password. You can request access to your account by submitting your email address here: https://secure.hbl.org/requestPassword 

That’s okay! Our new system allows multiple individual accounts on the same email address. Each user will need to select a unique Login ID.

Seeing the message “Login Name or Password is invalid“?

This could mean a few things!

-Your account on our new membership system is linked to the email address you used in our past membership system. If you try logging in with a different email address, you might see this message. 

-Your password from the old system was not brought over to the new system. If it is your first time logging in, you will need to set a password and Login Name. You can do so at this link: https://secure.hbl.org/requestPassword

Still not accepting your password? Click “Having trouble logging in” to access the password reset request. 


Seeing the message “We’re having trouble with the email address you entered. Either this email address does not exist, or you entered it incorrectly. Please try again.”?

This means you don’t have an account in our new system tied to that email address.

Try using a different email address to login, OR….

Start fresh & set up your account with all your most recent contact info by getting your HBL membership up to date by clicking here!


Our new supporter platform isn’t just for memberships – in the coming months, it will also become home to our events, donations, newsletter, and volunteer signup systems. Soon you’ll have a single system for all of your HBL engagements. 

Our hope is that this change will improve your experience engaging with HBL and allow us to strengthen our mission impact by reaching more supporters. Mahalo for your patience with this transaction!

HBL will be keeping the old Membership Dashboard online in a view-only mode until October 2024. You can still log in to that page with your old credentials, but you cannot purchase/renew memberships there or update your account. To configure our new supporter platform, HBL consolidated user data from our recent membership, event, donation, and volunteer databases. Records of past transactions depicted here are not comprehensive and are meant to be used for reference only. For the most accurate records of your past HBL transactions, please see your own emails or receipts.

Payments

Payments for HBL membership and donations now go through a payment processor that’s built-in to our new supporter platform. We are no longer using PayPal for these transactions.

LockThis site is secure  – we’ll never share your password or information with other parties. HBL does NOT keep any credit card information on file.

Yes! After completing your payment online a receipt will be emailed to the email address you provided.

Yes, when making any additional donations to HBL a receipt showing your tax-deductible contribution will be sent to you (for all donations made in which no goods or services were provided in exchange). Mahalo nui!
