What's Happening Now at HBL:
2026 Honolulu Century Ride
On Sunday, September 27th, thousands of rides will be gathering at Kapi‘olani Park for the Honolulu Century Ride. Don’t miss Hawaii’s largest cycling event as we ride a car-free Kaiwi Coast, the backroads of Waimānalo, and up the beautiful windward coast.
This event is a ride and not a race, welcoming riders of all skill level with options of riding 25. 50, 75, or the full 100 mile routes. Bike and Bus is an additional add on allowing riders to bike one way and catch a bus back to the park.
This is Hawai‘i Bicycling League’s largest fundraiser so please register to help support advocacy and education efforts across the state of Hawai‘i!

The 2026 session for the Hawaiʻi State Legislature opened on January 21, 2026, marking the beginning of the 33rd class of legislators. We are tracking a number of bills that directly affect people who walk, bike, roll, and use public transit.

2026 Hawai‘i Legislative Session
The 2026 Hawai‘i legislative session will begin on Wednesday January 21st and is expected to conclude on May 8th. HBL will be tracking measures related to active transportation including walking, biking, rolling and public transit.
