Thanks to a grant from the Better Bike Share Partnership, we’re excited to introduce Everybody Rides, a new and improved version of Bikeshare Hawai‘i’s Access Program. This initiative is intended to give more residents access to bikeshare, regardless of their income and experience.
Everybody Rides gives eligible participants an unlimited number of Biki rides for a reduced rate of only $10 per month. Similar to Biki’s standard Commuter Plan, each ride can be up to 30 minutes in duration, but there is no limit to how many rides you can take each day, week or month!
Reminder of Eligibility Requirements:
- Honolulu resident with valid Hawaii ID (required)
- At least 16 years of age (required)
- Eligible for our Everybody Rides Program (Currently receiving public assistance in the form of SNAP, TANF, TANOF, GA, Child Care Subsidies, AABD)
- Know how to to ride a bike. If you have never been on a bike before, please participate in an Adult Learn to Ride Workshop first.
Cancellation / No-Show Fee
For cancellations/no-shows with less than 24 hours notice there will be a $20.00 cancellation/no-show fee for costs incurred. If you cannot attend your scheduled workshop, please contact HBL’s Adult Education Manager at Malia@HBL.org or text/call (808) 457-5401 as soon as possible. Because these workshops have limited bikes, no-shows and late cancellations deprive someone else from the opportunity to learn. As a small nonprofit trying to change the world one person at a time, we appreciate your understanding!
