BikeEd Hawai‘i – Positions Available

Hawai‘i Bicycling League (HBL)

Hawai‘i Bicycling League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to enable more people to ride bicycles for health, recreation, and transportation through advocacy, education, and events. BikeEd Hawai‘i is a very important HBL program and was established in 1989. Each year, HBL’s BikeEd Program teaches bike safety to 8,000 O’ahu 4th-grade students. This is conducted over the course of a week, during their school day, and includes presentations, demonstrations, and on-the-bike drills on campus.  Students who are ready and willing (with parental permission) also bike on safe neighborhood streets under the leadership and supervision of the BikeEd team. The BikeEd Team is comprised of two teams of 2-3 instructors, as well as a BikeEd Manager.
